BNE Major Projects

BNE is the premier gateway to Queensland.

Curfew free and operating 24/7, Brisbane Airport is planning for a future that will see passengers, jobs and investment more than double in 20 years.

With more than 100 construction and development projects on site or in planning, Brisbane Airport is one of Australia’s most important growth hubs.

Our Assets Airport Construction Group has helped deliver $1 billion worth of infrastructure since 2009; now a further $3.8 billion is being invested in major projects over the next decade, improving and adding to our Airport.

Australia’s biggest aviation project, our $1.35 billion New Parallel Runway is well underway with the first aircraft due to land in 2020.

Over the next five years we are investing $577m on terminal expansions and upgrades, $350m on new aircraft parking bays, aprons and taxiways, $175m on landside roads, car parks and industrial parks and $116m on building upgrades.

A $120m expansion of the International Northern Precinct begins in September 2016, while we are continuing to transform the Domestic Terminal with a series of exciting projects.

Our construction projects are divided into four main sections –Terminals, Airside, Buildings and Landside – why not take a closer look?
