BAC outlines its 20-year vision for Brisbane Airport through Master Plans that are prepared every five years. A Master Plan is a statutory document required by the Australian Government under the Airports Act, which is subject to a formal public comment period and then, government approval. The current approved Master Plan, completed in 2009, details how BAC will sustainably manage the economic, operational, social and environmental aspects of the airport to 2029. A Supplementary Report is prepared to respond to formal comments or queries about the Master Plan raised during the public notification phase.
