In addition to the construction of a New Parallel Runway, Brisbane Airport is constantly upgrading its airfield infrastructure.
In 2012 we delivered over $100 million in airfield upgrades, including:
- significant apron expansions (used for aircraft parking, refuelling and boarding) at our Domestic and International Terminals
- a ‘missing link’ which has added significant capacity to our taxiway system
We will be delivering similar upgrades in 2013, with further apron expansion, drainage upgrades and surface upgrades for our main runway planned in 2013 and 2014.
