Major road and car park changes at Brisbane Airport – from 3 December 2009

The way you access Brisbane Airport is set to change from 3 December this year with the completion of Brisbane Airport Corporation’s Northern Access Road Project. For more than two years work has been progressing to the west of Airport Drive to deliver a new road system that will provide a second entry and exit to Brisbane Airport.

Two major roads and a number of link roads and bridges will be delivered when the Northern Access Road Project is complete. These major roads are:

• Moreton Drive – linking the Gateway Motorway to the International and Domestic Terminals. Named after Moreton Bay, this major road will give motorists travelling from the north or south on the Gateway Motorway access (via exit 108) to the International and Domestic Terminals.

• Nancy-Bird Way – linking Moreton Drive to the International Terminal. Named after legendary aviatrix Nancy-Bird Walton, this road links Moreton Drive to the International Terminal.
