Access and car park changes at the Domestic Terminal
Domestic Terminal Precinct – Major Changes
The opening of Moreton Drive will result in a significant change to the way that all vehicles enter the Domestic Terminal precinct and its car parks.
Arriving at the Domestic Terminal
From December 3, a large proportion of traffic will arrive at the Domestic Terminal precinct via Moreton Drive, moving into the precinct through a new signalised intersection with Dryandra Road. Traffic coming to the Domestic Terminal from Airport Drive will arrive via Dryandra Road, turning right into the precinct at the signalised intersection. Signage will direct motorists to the correct lanes to access public car parks, car rental returns and pick up/drop off area.

Accessing car parks at the Domestic Terminal
From December 3, entries to the existing undercover, multi-level PARKLONG car park (formerly long-term parking - best for 4 hrs+) and the existing open-air PARKSHORT (formerly known as short-term parking - best for up to 4 hrs) car park will change.
Visit Brisbane Airport Parking for more information about car parking options at Brisbane Airport.
Access to the existing under-cover, multi-level car park (PARKLONG ) from December 3
- New accesses at the northern end of the car park.
- Access via Moreton Drive or Dryandra Road (turn right at the signalised intersection).

Access to PARKSHORT
Construction of a new eight-level car park will commence around April 2010 and once complete, the car park will provide around 5,000 new undercover car parks, bringing the total number of car park spaces within the Domestic Terminal precinct to around 9,000.
The new multi-level car park will be constructed on the existing open-air PARKSHORT parking area that is located between the Domestic Terminal and the current long-term multi-level car park. This will require the relocation of PARKSHORT parking at the Domestic Terminal for the duration of construction.
A new PARKSHORT (less than 4 hours) car park, best for Virgin Blue and Jetstar, is now open at the southern end of the Domestic Terminal. Access to this car park is via Chloris Street, off Airport Drive. This will be the main car park for Virgin Blue and Jetstar once the main car park closes for construction.
A second new PARKSHORT car park, best for Qantas and QantasLink, will open mid April 2010, to enable the main open-air car park to close for construction.
