2026 Preliminary Draft Master Plan
Brisbane Airport Corporation has drafted a new Master Plan for Brisbane Airport. It builds on the planning and development outlined in the 2020 Master Plan. Once approved by the Minister for Infrastructure, it will form the new 20-year blueprint for the development of Brisbane Airport.
The 2026 Preliminary Draft Master Plan will be made available for public review and comment in August 2025.
2020 Master Plan
Providing a 20-year blueprint for development, the 2020 Master Plan outlines the land use planning and development intent for BNE, ensuring essential aviation infrastructure is continually delivered in advance of increased demand. While airport Master Plans at Australian airports are guided by regulatory requirements, the Master Plan forms an essential part of medium and long-term planning at Brisbane Airport.
The Australian Government approved Brisbane Airport’s 2020 Master Plan on 10 March 2020.
