Bevie Group relocated to Brisbane Airport following the 2022 completion of a purpose-built, 2,900sqm premises in the Warehousing Industrial Duplex Facility at Export Park.
The distributor of brands such as Still Spirits, Mangrove Jacks and Grainfather required a specialty storeroom for perishables, warehousing with racking and a contemporary office space.
Brisbane Airport built the Warehousing Industrial Duplex Facility to meet that need and to accommodate logistics and freight business, Bonds Transport Group.
Milestones Early Learning Centre
Milestones Early Learning provides an essential service for working parents in the Brisbane Airport precinct and surrounds with quality childcare and pre-school.
The contemporary 3,421 sqm childcare centre includes dedicated spaces for children to engage in cooking, yoga, sport, performing arts and sustainability activities.
There are also staff offices, 6 bathrooms, storage and on-site parking.
Located in Skygate, the centre is easily accessible from the major arterial roads and Gateway Motorway.
Novotel Hotel
The Novotel hotel is adjacent to the Gateway Motorway and only minutes from the Domestic and International Terminals by dedicated shuttle bus.
With 157 rooms, the 4.5 star Novotel offers a mix of room types from standard to executive suites and offers 24-hour room service with a 24-hour Woolworths only 200 metres away.
The hotel development also included undercover parking for guest convenience and boasts an in-house restaurant and dramatic glass-ended, cantilevered rooftop pool space.
DHL Express
Global logistics provider DHL Express increased its warehousing capacity at Da Vinci Business Park to increase its operational capacity.
Expanding its existing site in the master-planned industrial zone, Brisbane Airport developed a contemporary warehouse and office that enabled greater throughput while minimising the use of energy and water.
Sustainability features of the building included LED lighting, rainwater harvesting and the use of insulating translucent sheeting on 10 per cent of the roof area.
Skygate Home & Life
Skygate Home & Life offers commercial, retail and leisure tenancies in a thriving shopping precinct.
The homemaker centre provides 268 free car parks for easy access to it's retailers including TK Maxx, Nick Scali, Pillow Talk, Lighting Illusions, Early Settler and Deco Rug.
As the second stage of the Skygate development, the complex provides easy access to neighbouring Skygate leisure retail precinct comprising DFO Brisbane, Queensland's only 24/7 Woolworths, a Novotel hotel, childcare centres, and offices.
Golf Central
Golfers’ experience was top of mind through the Brisbane Airport’s design and development process.
Featuring a 50-bay 300m driving range, 18-hole mini golf and performance zones, the centre caters to all golfers from beginner to pro.
The Toptracer Driving Range was Australia’s first, with the benefit of floodlights for night-time practice.
Completed in late-2012, the construction delivered 1,096sqm of net lettable area, including a coaching centre and TaylorMade Performance Lab allowing space for leisure, while 54 free car parks made it easily accessible.
Bureau of Meteorology
The Bureau of Meteorology created a fit-for-purpose commercial premises on this 12,692sqm site to operate their Queensland headquarters.
From this key location, meteorologists, hydrologists and other weather forecasters and data analysts assess and analyse weather observations for Brisbane, Queensland and the region.
The Bureau of Meteorology also operates critical observation stations across the Brisbane Airport precinct, and coordinates emergency responses.
iSeek Data Centre
Australian-owned iSeek provides enterprise cloud, robust data centres, managed connectivity solutions and multi-provider internet services to the corporate and government sectors and required a larger facility to meet demand.
Working with iSeek, Brisbane Airport constructed a 3,250sqm facility adjacent to their existing lease that set new benchmarks for security, power efficiency, capacity and connectivity.
The data centre is certified under a global system as Uptime Institute Tier 4, the highest standard for reliability.
Wallenius Wilhelmsen
European logistics giant Wallenius Wilhelmsen established its new 48,000sqm Queensland technical services facility at Brisbane Airport to support its specialist services transporting cars, trucks and agricultural equipment around the world.
The custom designed facility capitalises on Brisbane Airport’s unrivalled location and development flexibility with the inclusion of a 6,000sqm building and a 42,000sqm hardstand area with overhead gantry cranes, wash bays and a paint booth.
RSEA Safety
RSEA Safety expanded its footprint in Queensland with the 2023 development of a new 3,900sqm facility on a 9,854sqm site in the city’s premier industrial zone at Brisbane Airport.
The company is Australia's largest independent national supplier of safety goods, apparel and equipment.
