iSeek Data Centre
Australian-owned iSeek provides enterprise cloud, robust data centres, managed connectivity solutions and multi-provider internet services to the corporate and government sectors and required a larger facility to meet demand.
Working with iSeek, Brisbane Airport constructed a 3,250sqm facility adjacent to their existing lease that set new benchmarks for security, power efficiency, capacity and connectivity.
The data centre is certified under a global system as Uptime Institute Tier 4, the highest standard for reliability.
Hanson Constructions
Construction materials company Hanson relocated to Brisbane Airport’s Skygate precinct, choosing the location for its unparalleled transport links and the strong amenity available to its workforce.
Hanson Constructions is one of Australia's leading suppliers of heavy building materials to the construction industry and is part of the global Heidelberg Cement Group.
The bespoke office, completed in late-2016, included flexible office space, laboratory facilities and a public showroom.
GEODIS
The custom-built GEODIS facility at Export Park includes a 4,500sqm warehouse facility.
It includes 4,000 pallet locations, bulk space and a cool room to assist the company to deliver custom services for its customers across the marine, hospitality and automotive sectors.
With GEODIS a major supplier for cruise lines, the Export Park location provides unparalleled connectivity and accessibility for the global logistics company and room to grow its operations into the future.
Pullman Hotel
The architecturally designed 7,800sqm Pullman Brisbane Airport hotel features 132 five-star rooms and access to conference facilities with a ballroom, seven conference rooms, four executive boardrooms and open-air terrace.
The hotel has the convenience of an airport location within close proximity to the Skygate retail precinct that features DFO Brisbane and Woolworths.
The property was completed in 2014 and was named the Best Airport Hotel Australia/Pacific at the prestigious Skytrax World Airport Awards at the 2022 and 2023 World Airport Awards.
Qantas Flight Training Centre
Qantas worked with Brisbane Airport under a Building Development Agreement to deliver the pilot-training simulator in 2021.
The 2,144 sqm facility includes a 1,154 sqm warehouse to house simulators for the Boeing 737, 767F and 787 Dreamliner and Dash-8 Q400 – as well as a Q400 flight training device.
The 5,784 sqm site also includes 990 sqm of office, administration, training and amenities, 25 at-grade car parks and an external maneuvering hardstand area.
Novotel Hotel
The Novotel hotel is adjacent to the Gateway Motorway and only minutes from the Domestic and International Terminals by dedicated shuttle bus.
With 157 rooms, the 4.5 star Novotel offers a mix of room types from standard to executive suites and offers 24-hour room service with a 24-hour Woolworths only 200 metres away.
The hotel development also included undercover parking for guest convenience and boasts an in-house restaurant and dramatic glass-ended, cantilevered rooftop pool space.
Bevie Group
Bevie Group relocated to Brisbane Airport following the 2022 completion of a purpose-built, 2,900sqm premises in the Warehousing Industrial Duplex Facility at Export Park.
The distributor of brands such as Still Spirits, Mangrove Jacks and Grainfather required a specialty storeroom for perishables, warehousing with racking and a contemporary office space.
Brisbane Airport built the Warehousing Industrial Duplex Facility to meet that need and to accommodate logistics and freight business, Bonds Transport Group.
Air Menzies International
Long-term Brisbane Airport tenant, Air Menzies International, sought an expanded facility to increase capacity for its growing operations.
Brisbane Airport developed a state-of-the-art facility on a 10,155sqm site at Airport Industrial Park.
It includes a 500 sqm main office on ground level, a 2,500sqm warehouse area, 38 parking bays and four at-grade loading docks.
Sustainability features include translucent roof sheeting for insulation, a light-filled design and energy efficient fittings.
ibis Hotel
Ibis Brisbane Airport Hotel opened in 2014 as part of the Brisbane Airport Hotels and Conference Centre precinct.
The hotel provides affordable accommodation in the airport precinct, catering to families and business travellers.
With 243 guest rooms, including 99 superior rooms, an all-day bistro and the stylish Sky Lounge rooftop venue, it has all the makings of a comfortable stay.
NIOA
Brisbane Airport worked closely with NIOA to deliver a sustainable new office in a strategic location.
The five-storey tower was the first Australian multi-storey commercial building created from Mass Engineered Timber. Using prefabricated panels, the 1,445 sqm office was erected in less than a month, with the whole project constructed in seven months.
The project included a state-of-the-art boardroom space and a new glazed staff courtyard to provide seamless linkage to the adjacent existing building.
