The Tourist Refund Scheme (TRS) is an initiative of the Australian Government and allows the tax paid on the transaction to be reimbursed to all travellers (including Australians), when travelling out of the country with the goods.
The refund is redeemable at the International Terminal of Brisbane Airport at the Australian Border Force Tourist Refund Scheme offices in the following locations:
Please note from 19 May the Tourist Refund Scheme desk on Level 1 will be temporarily relocated to Level 2. Please take the lift to level 2 to visit the temporary counter on Level 2, behind Rentals Cars. You will need to do this before you check your luggage in for your flight.
