Traffic Infringements

It is important to be aware that there are restrictions against parking or stopping outside the designated parking or stopping areas across Brisbane Airport. This is in accordance with the Commonwealth consolidated regulations of the Airport (Control of On-Airport Activities) Regulations 2026 - Reg 106BA.

Put simply, it’s important to follow the road signage at Brisbane Airport. 

Anyone who fails to comply with parking restrictions and instructions across Brisbane Airport, may be fined and issued with a Parking Infringement Notice (PIN).

All parking infringements issued at Brisbane Airport are issued on behalf of the Australian Government under the Commonwealth Airports (Control of On Airport Activities) Regulations 2026. 

Infringement amounts are set by Commonwealth law, not by the airport. The amount is fixed under federal law, and Brisbane Airport does not have discretion to reduce them. Brisbane Airport gains no income from the collection of parking infringements for the Commonwealth.

Pay a PIN infringement

If you have been issued with a Parking Infringement Notic (PIN), you can either pay the infringement or submit a written appeal for review.

For infringements issued after 22 October 2026

Infringement payments and appeals can be processed at this Infringement Self Service Portal. 

Infringements issued before 21 October 2026

You can pay your infringement online or follow the process below to appeal:

Please note that under Brisbane Airport's arrangements with the Australian Government, issuing officers have no discretion in issuing or cancelling parking infringements.

Airport pick-up tips

To help keep traffic moving safely and efficiently across Brisbane Airport, please follow all airport road signs and parking restrictions.

If you're collecting a passenger:

• Use the designated Waiting Areas until your passenger is ready for collection.
• Follow the signs to the appropriate pick-up zone.
• Consider booking short-term parking to meet and greet passengers inside the terminal.
• Do not stop or park outside designated areas.
• Do not wait on the side of roadways or loading zones.
• Allow extra time during busy travel periods including school holidays.
