Changes to transfer bus services
From Monday 6 April 2020 the following schedule changes to Brisbane Airport’s transfer bus services will come into effect:
Terminals to/from AIRPARK
All bus services will cease from 1am Monday 6 April 2020 (except on demand for remaining customers parked onsite). Please see the updated information for existing AIRPARK customers.
Between terminals
Dedicated terminal to terminal bus services will cease from 1am Monday 6 April 2020, however transport between the terminals will be available on the regular Skygate loop bus services. This service now leaves from Level 4 of the International Terminal.
Skygate / Airport loop service
Bus service will continue to operate as per normal schedule, servicing Domestic, International and Skygate until further notice.
Brisbane Airport offers a number of complimentary transfer bus services between the Terminals, the Skygate Centre, DFO and AIRPARK for the convenience of passengers.
Terminal Transfer Bus
Brisbane Airport operates a complimentary Terminal Transfer Bus that runs 7 days between 4:00am and 11:00pm as follows:
Hours of operation
- 4:00am - 6:00am - every 25 minutes
- 6:00am - 7:00pm - every 10 minutes
- 7:00pm - 11:00pm - every 25 minutes*
*after 11:00pm, utilise the AIRPARK Transfer Bus service
Approximate journey time - 10 minutes
Terminal Transfer Bus departure locations
- Domestic Terminal - look for the orange Terminal Transfer Bus stops located outside the Terminal, at the Qantas and Virgin ends. The transfer bus arrives into Level 4 - Departures of the International Terminal.
- International Terminal - the Terminal Transfer Bus departs from kerbside on Level 2 of the Arrivals hall.

Skygate Loop service
Skygate is the home of DFO Brisbane, plus Queensland’s only 24/7 Woolworths. With over 160 specialty stores, restaurants and even a golf driving range and putt putt, Skygate has everything covered.
A complimentary transfer bus operates 7 days between Skygate and the Domestic and International Terminals.
Approximate transfer times are as follows:
- Domestic Terminal to Skygate: 5 minutes
- International Terminal to Skygate: 15 minutes (via Domestic Terminal)
- Skygate to International Terminal: 10 minutes
- Skygate to Domestic Terminal: 20 minutes (via International Terminal)
Skygate Bus pick up locations
- Domestic Terminal - The Skygate Loop service departs from the Orange Transfer Bus stops located outside the Terminal, at the Qantas and Virgin ends.
- International Terminal - The Skygate Loop service departs from the kerbside on Level 4 of the International Terminal
- Skygate Centre - The Skygate Loop service departs from the Skygate Centre adjacent to the Beauty Stop, opposite DFO.

AIRPARK Transfer Bus
The AIRPARK complimentary transfer bus runs 24/7 between AIRPARK and the Domestic and International Terminals as follows:
- Every 15 minutes between 3:00am and 11:00pm
- Every 30 minutes between 11:00pm and 3:00am
Approximate journey time from AIRPARK to the Domestic Terminal - 10 minutes
Approximate journey time from AIRPARK to the International Terminal - 15 minutes
AIRPARK Bus departure locations
- Domestic Terminal - catch the AIRPARK Transfer Bus from the one of the Orange Transfer Bus stops located outside the Terminal, at the Qantas and Virgin ends. From the Domestic Terminal, the AIRPARK bus then travels to the International Terminal for passenger collection and onto AIRPARK.
- International Terminal - the AIRPARK Transfer Bus departs from the Orange Transfer Bus stop located outside on Level 4 Departures Hall.
