Border re-opening day is on-par with the emotional turbulence experienced when we launched Brisbane's New Runway earlier this year. It is another exciting celebration we are fortunate to participate in after a year of ups and downs. There's also a strong sense of relief.
1 December 2020 signals the path to recovery, as long-awaited family reunions take place at our boarding gates and baggage carousels, our hope is to be able to continue to connect loved-ones with each other, connect Australians with quintessential Queensland holidays and connect Queenslanders to the world as we work together to create safe travel bubbles.
Everyone at Brisbane Airport is more than ready to welcome you back, it's time to fly again.
Our friends from all over Brisbane were on hand to help welcome passengers back
