Overview
Queensland Rail operates a landmark depot and maintenance facility at Brisbane Airport, serving as a key engineering and technical centre for its South East Queensland network.
Established as part of the Cross River Rail program, the facility on Qantas Drive was selected to consolidate existing city-based departments and improve operational efficiency.
The 6,000sqm industrial development comprises a 2,000sqm office and a 4,000sqm workshop, supporting fleet maintenance, fabrication, welding and technical services.
The Brisbane Airport location provides space, connectivity and functionality to support Queensland Rail’s ongoing operations and infrastructure requirements.
