Brisbane Airport is representing all Australian airports on the inaugural Jet Zero Council to bring together a cross-section of senior leaders from across the aviation sector and its supply chains to lead efforts to deliver net zero aviation in Australia.

Brisbane Airport is part of the Hydrogen Flight Alliance which is supporting the trial of a quieter and cleaner transport using hydrogen electric aircraft. Being part of the trial will help BAC have a greater understanding of the changes to infrastructure and operations required to facilitate hydrogen refueling and operations. We are solving problems here which will be faced at all airports in the future.

Brisbane Airport has partnered with the Containers for Change program since 2021 providing the 10-cent refund for each eligible container collected across both Terminals, Skygate and offices to a local charity. Through this program, donations have been made to the Pyjama Foundation, Bulimba Creek Catchment and the Moreton Bay Foundation.
