Overview
Due to customer demand for low-cost airport parking options, we expanded AIRPARK to deliver 1,700 new carparks. AIRPARK is our park and ride, budget-friendly parking option offering our passengers the most cost-effective choice to park at the Airport.
Sustainability considerations
- Reduced waste by reusing materials from other airport projects reducing the high level of carbon emissions that would’ve been used to transport this waste off site.
- This project took on a considered sustainability design implementing initiatives such as recycled asphalt pavement, low carbon concrete for the foot paths and plastic drainage pipes in lieu of concrete.
- EV charging bays installed along with rooftop solar panels on the entry structure.
