BAC Airside Operations Centre, upon request, may provide an escort service for a vehicle not authorised to be driven airside, or for a driver not authorised to drive airside. Charges apply. The Airside Safety Officer Escort Form can be downloaded from the Airside Driving Centre section of the Brisbane Airport website below.
BAC Airside Safety Officers or an ADA holder with the appropriate category ADA may provide escort or supervision by:
- Driving an authorised vehicle as an escort for the escorted/supervised vehicle
- Riding in the escorted/supervised vehicle or
- Accompanying the escorted/supervised vehicle on foot.
Other vehicles and drivers are permitted to operate airside if escorted by, or under the control of, an Airside Safety Officer or other airside drivers holding an appropriate ADA for the area where the escorted vehicle is being taken. An escorting driver will be responsible for any airside driving offences committed by a driver he/she is escorting.
The form below must be completed in its entirety to allow for adequate operational planning and a safe escort within the Airside environment, the escort may be declined if insufficient information is provided. Once completed, please email the form to @email
- Escort services for one off (single day) escorts must be booked a minimum of 24 hours in advance
- Escorts for multiple days or ongoing pieces of Airside Works must be initiated 4 weeks in advance
- All escorts are subject to operational requirements and may be subject to change
- A minimum four (4) hours notice is required for the cancellation of an escort service. Please note, cancellation fees may apply.
All escort services incur a minimum charge of $158.70 (incl GST) covering the first hour. A rate of $158.70 (incl GST) applies for each subsequent hour or part thereof.
