Achieved: Net Zero (scope 1 and 2) by 2025
Zero operational waste to landfill by 2030 (excluding quarantine/sterile area waste)
50% recycled water target by 2030 (BAC consumption)
Signatory to the Clean Skies For Tomorrow Initiative to contribute to global production of 10% Sustainable Aviation Fuel by 2030.

International Terminal Northern Concourse Install

Airport-wide Rooftop Solar

An additional 5,000 solar panels are currently being installed to the International Terminal rooftops.

Brisbane Airport added bee hives to our Biodiversity Zone in 2019. Our colony has grown to over 30 bee hives.
